The political drama is set in Chile in 1983, when the first street protests against General Pinochet’s military dictatorships were made. When a teenage boy from a rural village claims that he can see and talk to the Virgin Mary, the church sends a priest to investigate whether this is a real miracle or political manipulation. The film is being targeted at the autumn festivals.

Also new on the Films Boutique slate is Becoming Traviata, a feature doc by Philippe Béziat starring world famous French Soprano Natalie
Dessay, the London Symphony Orchestra & the Estonian Philharmonic Choir. Produced by Philippe Martin (Les films Pelleas), the film follows Desssay from the first rehearsals until the premiere of Verdi’s masterpiece under the direction of Jean-François Sivadier.

The film will be ready later this summer.
