Nick Cassavetes’ surreal drama premiered here at the weekend (7) and tells of a substitute teacher with a vivid imagination who takes a road trip to confront her family on a range of personal issues.

Medient Studios CEO Manu Kumaran produced the story and ICM Partners represents domestic rights.

Heather Wahlquist stars alongside Sienna Miller, Melanie Griffith, Gena Rowlands, Lucy Punch, David Morse and Ray Liotta, among others.

“We are thrilled to be associated with this film, its filmmaker and its producer,” Atlas International CEO Philipp Menz said. “We felt in love with this film the minute we saw it, and are honored to bring this to distributors worldwide and their local audiences, who are more and more hungry for sophisticated entertainment”.

Yellow is a testament to the mind boggling genius of Nick Cassavetes,” Kumaran said. “The film’s arresting visual imagery is something that audiences worldwide have never seen. And with Atlas International associated with the film, we know it will reach the global audience that it deserves.”
