Beta Cinema has closed a number of deals on its AFM slate including on Enid Blyton updates The Famous Five 1 and 2 to France (Metropolitan), Russia (Volga Films) and Turkey (Medyavizyon), adventure epic The Physician, starring Ben Kingsley, Olivier Martinez and Stellan Skarsgard to South Korea (Entermode Corp) and Turkey (Medyavizyon) and new drama The Devil’s Violinist, starring musician David Garrett and Joely Richardson, to Japan (New Select/The Klockworx).
Alex Schmidt’s thriller Forgotten has gone to France (Swift Distribution), South Korea (Momo Entertainment), Japan (Nettai Museum) and Turkey (Medyavisyion) while Andrzej Jakimowski-directed drama Imagine has been picked up in Germany (Neue Visionen) and Turkey (Calinos Films).
Thriller Two Lives has also sold to Turkey through Codex Media.
