Bleiberg Entertainment has acquired international rights to Lee Toland Krieger’s romantic thriller The Vicious Kindand will launch the film at the Cannes market.

Adam Scott, Brittany Snow and J K Simmons star in the character driven piece said to be in the tradition of Whit Stillman, Noah Baumbach, and Neil LaBute, who serves as executive producer.

Chairman and CEO Ehud Bleiberg and Shannon Banal brokered the deal for Bleiberg. ICM packaged the film and is in talks with North American distributors.
