Sales outfit The Yellow Affair has sold  Mika Kaurismäki’s comedy drama Road North to Japan (Alcine), Canada (Kinosmith), Benelux (Bridge Rights) and Estonia (Estinfilm).

Alcine has also taken Kaurismaki’s Brothers, while Estinfilm nabbed comedy Gloriously Wasted, by Lauri Maijala.

Stockholm and Helsinki based The Yellow Affair recently picked up football documentary The King - Jari Litmanen, recently selected for IDFA 2012.

Road North was a Finnish box office hit.

The company is also discussing Kaurismaki’s intriguing upcoming period drama The Girl King, starring Malin Buska and Martina Gedeck.
