EXCLUSIVE: Transmission picks up upcoming horror Bone Tomahawk for “good six figures” from Celluloid Dreams.

Hengameh Panahi of Celluloid Dreams has closed another “good six figure” market deal on new horror Bone Tomahawk, this time with Australia’s Transmission.

Kurt Russell, Peter Sarsgaard, Richard Jenkins and Jennifer Carpenter will star in writer-director S Craig Zahler’s story of a sheriff, a gunslinger, an old man and a cowboy who saddle up to rescue a group of captives from a tribe of cannibalistic cave dwellers.

Shoot is set for spring 2013 in New Mexico. Wild Side swooped on French rights earlier in the market.

CAA and UTA co-represent US rights.
