Cineart takes on A Screaming Man, All Good Children

Benelus buyer also takes on Salles’ On The Road and Sorrentino’s This Must Be The Place.

Benelux buyer Cineart has picked up a handful of titles in the official selection and Cannes market. Already aboard Ken Laoch’s Route Irish and closing night film Julie Bertucelli’s The Tree, the distributor has also taken A Screaming Man (Un homme qui crie) from Mahamat-Saleh Haroun and Quinzaine title All Good Children by Alicia Duffy.

Cineart has also bought Walter Salles’ Jack Kerouac adaptation On The Road from MK2 and Paolo Sorrrentino’s This Must Be The Place (sold by Pathe.)

Other recent pick-ups include Thirteen Assassins from Takashi Miike (sold by HanWay) and A Bottle In The Gaza Sea (from Roissy).

The company is also already aboard the Dardenne brothers’ Untitled new drama starring Cecile De France.

The new film breaks with recent Dardenne tradition in that it will be shot in the summer. “That’s new for them, to have sun in their movies,” observed Eliane du Bois, General Manager of Cineart.
