Producers reps Circus Road Films has acquired worldwide rights to Blue Wood Films’ Right To Bear Arms and is in talks with North American distributors.

John Savage and Tara Walker star in Oliver Tuthill’s story of illegal gun dealers who plan the assassination of a US prosecutor and gun control advocate.

“We’re very pleased to bring this exciting new film to the worldwide marketplace,” Circus Road’s Zac Reeder said after seeing the film at AFM. “Its strong storyline and acting set it apart from most films in the genre. We have high expectations for the film.” 

Reeder and Glen Reynolds founded Circus Road Films in 2006 to provide strategic advisory services to filmmakers and entertainment companies. 

In that time the company has worked on such proects as Night Train with Danny Glover and Steve Zahn, Older Than America with Bradley Cooper, Blood And Bone starring Michael Jai White, and Special, which stars Michael Rappaport.
