The German company will bring eight titles to free Hulu and the Hulu Plus subscription service for streaming in the US.

The selection includes Hermine Huntgeburth’s The White Massai (2005) and Effi (2009), The Fisherman And His Wife (2005) by Doris Dörrie, Electro Ghetto (2010) produced by the late Bernd Eichinger, recent German box office hits Pope Joan (2009) and Wickie And The Mighty Vikings (2010).

“Hulu has always been on the forefront of content streaming and we are very excited to partner with them to bring our films to a new audience that may not have had the chance to see them in theatrical release,” Constantin film and TV head Martin Moszkowicz said.

The films will be available in the original German-language version with English subtitles or dubbed in English.
