Content Film has announced a slew of sales on Xavier Gens’ SXSW hit The Divide in the wake of the North American sale to Anchor Bay.

Deals have closed in the UK (Momentum), France (Initiative Cinema One), Germany (Square One), Australia and New Zealand (Hoyts), Scandinavia (CCV), Portugal (Lusomundo), Turkey (Duka) and the Middle East (Gulf Film).

Content Film president Jamie Carmichael also announced the company licensed rights to CIS (Cinemax), China (HGC Entertainment), Singapore (Archer Entertainment), Indonesia (PT Amero), Taiwan (Catchplay) and Thailand and Vietnam (IPA Asia).

The Divide follows eight adults and a young girl trapped inside a New York City basement who must survive each other.

Lauren German, Michael Biehn, Milo Ventimiglia, Rosanna Arquette, Courtney B Vance, Ashton Holmes, Michael Eklund and 11-year-old newcomer Abbey Thickson star.

Kevin Iwashina of Preferred Content and Graham Taylor of WME Global brokered the North American deal with Anchor Bay.
