The pact marks eOne’s first distribution partnership in Asia.

United Entertainment Korea is to handle all media rights for eOne’s international home entertainment titles in South Korea.

eOne Television international will continue to handle the television content in Korea and eOne Films International will continue to offer films to all buyers/distributors in the territory.

The first titles to be released in theatres under the new partnership are Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

“We’re very excited to collaborate with Peter and the UEK team,” said Patrice Theroux, eOne’s president, filmed entertainment. “As we continue to expand our global distribution network, it’s essential that we build strong partnerships with local industry leaders like UEK. We continue to seek new strategic opportunities around the world to exploit our content on a multi-platform basis. We’re confident that UEK will be a very strong partner for us in this new territory,” Theroux continued.

UEK exclusively distributes home entertainment products for Sony Pictures, NBC Universal and 20th Century Fox. The company also handles some theatrical releases.
