Screen Media Films has acquired North American rights to Michael Dowse’s comedy Fubar: Balls To The Wall.
The film premiered at Toronto and follows the misadventures of two hapless friends as they seek employment at a factory in Canada. Paul J Spence and David Lawrence star. The US premiere will take place at SXSW next month.
Screen Media Films president Robert Baruc plans to release the film on VOD and home video on Apr 19.
Executive also addresses licensing of features and shows.
Advertising membership grew 65% quarter-on-quarter.
