Warner Bros Pictures and Legendary Pictures have dated their monster sequel.
Godzilla 2 will open on June 8, 2018.
Gareth Edwards teased a Comic-Con crowd last month with a montage that suggested the arrival of three well-known characters in the follow-up film: Rodan, Mothra and King Ghidorah.
Edwards will commence work on the sequel once he has completed duties in San Francisco on Untitled Star Wars Project.
Godzilla opened last May and has grossed $507m worldwide.
Executive also addresses licensing of features and shows.
Advertising membership grew 65% quarter-on-quarter.
