Hannibal Classics is selling action comedy Sleight Of Hand here in Cannes, starring Kiefer Sutherland, Gerard Depardieu, Til Schweiger, Thomas Jane, Johnny Hallyday, Jon Lovitz and Eric Cantona.

The company’s Richard Rionda del Castro is producing alongside Gilles Thompson from Acteurs, Auteurs, Associes and Patricia Eberle will serve as executive producer.

Brad Mirman will direct the film and shooting is scheduled to run from the end of July through mid-September.
Jean Luc Couchard, Nora Arnezeder and Patrice Cols also star in the story of small time crooks in Paris who unwittingly come into possession of a rare coin that belongs to a gangster.

“There is no better place to announce a French film with International stars than the Cannes Film Festival,” del Castro, also a principal in Marco Polo Production, said. “It is going to be a wonderful film entirely shot in Paris, the most beautiful city in the world and I will be working for the second time with Gerard, Johnny, Thomas and Jon. We are still casting so there are a few more surprises in store.”

Hannibal Classics is also going into production on Amityville: The Legacy 3D and del Castro is producing with Paul Mason and Steve B Harris.
