HanWay has struck a slew of VOD library deals for titles across its classics and documentary label HanWay Select.

Also, airline distributor Jaguar Entertainment has picked up a range of titles from the British Film Institute Collection, the Wim Wenders Collection and the Jeremy Thomas library.

In Russia, SVOD and TVOD library deals were struck with Yota Play and Ivi, including Yota taking Robert Weide’s Woody Allen: A Documentary [pictured] for a day and date theatrical and VOD release.

In the UK, full, non-exclusive library deals were inked with LoveFilm, Curzon On Demand and BlinkBox, while in Latin America HanWay struck a deal with Polar Star, whose platforms include Sony PlayStation, Netflix, Xbox and iTunes.

Further deals were closed with VOD platform Walla in Israel in partnership with Shapira films, with Filmin in Spain, Sohu in China and BoxTV in India.  

HanWay Selects, the speciality division of HanWay Films, handles more than 500 features from directors including Woody Allen, Bernardo Bertolucci, David Cronenberg, Clint Eastwood, Alfred Hitchcock, James Ivory, Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott and Bob Rafaelson in addition to the Jeremy Thomas catalogue, the British Film Institute Collection, the Peter Weir Collection and the Wim Wenders Collection.

Titles include The Last Emperor, The Sheltering Sky, Wings of Desire, Paris, Texas and Howards End.
