Millennium Entertainment has acquired all US rights to the horror-comedy that premiered in January at Sundance in the Park City At Midnight strand.

The Darko Entertainment and Principato-Young ensemble cast includes Rob Corddry, Leslie Bibb, Keegan Michael Key, Riki Lindhome, Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer and Michael Ian Black. The film will debut on all VOD platforms in autumn ahead of a theatrical run 30 days later.

Hell Baby follows an expectant couple as they move into a New Orleans fixer-upper with a demonic curse. When things spiral out of control only the Vatican’s elite exorcism team is called in to help. Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon wrote, directed, produced and appear in the film.

Darko Entertainment financed the project and the company’s Sean McKittrick and Jeff Culotta produced alongside Principato-Young’s Peter Principato and Paul Young. John D Lynch, David Lincoln and Darko Entertainment’s Edward H Hamm Jr served as executive producers.

Millennium Entertainment vp of acquisitions Tristen Tuckfield brokered the deal with CAA on behalf of Darko Entertainment, and Principato-Young.
