Roadside Attractions has acquired US rights to Hemingway’s Garden Of Eden directed by John Irvin and starring Mena Suvari and Jack Huston.

Richard E Grant, Caterina Murino, Matthew Modine and Carmen Maura round out the cast on the film, based on Enrest Hemingway’s jazz age romance novel posthumously published in 1986.

The UK-Spain production follows a successful young American writer and his beautiful wife on their extended honeymoon in Europe. The relationship changes forever when the woman brings a sultry Italian girl into their lives.

James Scott Linville adapted the screenplay and Lorne Thyssen and Timothy J Lewiston produced for Tranquil Seas.

Tranquil Seas’ Ian Jessel and Tim Johnson and Emily MacKintosh of Field Fisher Waterhouse negotiated the deal with attorney Greg Bernstein on behalf of Roadside Attractions.
