ID takes on 1940s-set Hamlet

Montreal-based ID Communications  has taken worldwide rights to Hamlet, a feature film adaptation written and directed by Bruce Ramsay.

The film will be screening at Berlin’s European Film Market.

This version is set in 1940s England.

“This cinematic and fast-paced Hamlet re-affirms the value of strong underlying material, not to mention good acting which Bruce has brought us in this ensemble cast. We believe the film has enough style pacing to connect with international audiences, beyond the obvious education market,” said Dan Shannon of ID Communications.
