ROUND-UP: The distributor has acquired US rights to the supernatural thriller following the premiere in Berlin’s Generation strand. Separately the comedy Balls Out has found buyers in North and Latin America.

- Orion Releasing will distribute Balls Out in North American and MGM has acquired Latin American rights to the football comedy that premiered in Tribeca as Intramural. Deborah McIntosh of WME Global brokered the deal on behalf of the fimmakers.
- Vimeo and Emerging Pictures have announced the simultaneous North American VOD and theatrical release of Benjamin Statler’s docudrama Soaked In Bleach on June 21. Vimeo’s director of content acquisitions Derek Dressler brokered the deal with VMI Worldwide on behalf of the filmmakers. The film centres on the controversy surrounding Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain’s death.
