Image Entertainment has acquired all US rights to Ambush Entertainment’s Every Day starring Helen Hunt and Liev Schreiber.

The film is scheduled for theatrical release in January 2011 through Image Entertainment followed by DVD and digital launch in spring.

Image Entertainment chief acquisitions officer Bill Bromiley made the announcement.

Schreiber plays a television writer on a seedy drama whose life is turned upside-down when his wife’s estranged father moves in with their family Brian Dennehy, Eddie Izzard and Carla Gugino round out the key cast.

Alliance Entertainment will distribute in Canada. Myriad Pictures is handling foreign sales for the film, which debuted recently in Deauville.
