Image Entertainment has acquired Ruthless Pictures’ horror anthology Zombieworld.

Ruthless Pictures and Dread Central will hand-pick short film entries received between now and May 30 on Dread Central.com.  

Selections will join Peter Horn and Jared Marshall’s short Dark Times.

“We’re eager to distribute this project because it embodies what independent filmmaking is all about: passion and creativity,” said Image Entertainment vp of acquisition Mark Ward.

Image Entertainment’s Jess De Leo and Grace Feeney negotiated the deal with Jesse Baget on behalf of the filmmakers.
