Winstone to star in Harley Cokeliss adaptation of Melvin Burgess novel.

Intandem Films has boarded comedy Western In With The Outlaws, to be directed by Andrew Morahan (JLS: Eyes Wide Open).

Gemma Arterton, Brendan Gleeson, Tom Hollander, singer Alice Cooper, Richard Griffiths and Domnhall Gleeson are attached.

In With The Outlaws follows a sheriff and his troupe of hapless sidekicks - as well as beautiful accomplice Pandora Dallas (Arterton) - in their bid to rid their hometown Pitsville of the sheriff’s own notorious outlaw family. The script comes from Nicholas Sercombe.

The UK outfit is also pulling finance together for new Harley Cokeliss project Crossing 23 scripted by Peter Milligan (Pilgrim) with Ray Winstone attached to play the role of a savvy cop.

Milligan’s script, developed with support from the MEDIA programme, is a near future-set coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of a broken society in which an innocent baby both threatens and unites a group of street kids.

Intandem’s AFM slate includes market debuts for Kari Skogland’s Prisoner Of Tehran and action-adventure The True Confession Of Charlotte Doyle.
