Brit thriller stars Melissa George, Ed Speelers and Sean Harris

UK distribution outfit Kaleidoscope have picked up all UK rights to Julian Gibney’s British adventure thriller A Lonely Place To Die from Genesis Film Sales.

Starring Melissa George (Triangle, 30 Days Of Night), Ed Speelers (Eragon), Sean Harris (Harry Brown) and Karel Roden (The Bourne Supremacy), the film follow a group of five mountaineers hiking in the Scottish Highlands who become caught up in a game of cat and mouse with kidnappers.

The release will be Kaleidoscope’s widest in the UK to date.

Spencer Pollard CEO of Kaleidoscope said: “We are delighted with the acquisition of A Lonely Place To Die.  The film is an edge of your seats’ ride which is very commercial for the UK.  It will be our largest theatrical release to date and we are very excited by our release plans”.
