Gareth West, Artur Galstian, and Vahan Yepremeyan’s LA-based Ketchup Entertainment has struck a deal with Open Road Films to handle distribution on its theatrical titles across multiple windows.

In addition to ancillaries, the deal includes the opportunity to partner on theatrical distribution for upcoming Ketchup Entertainment titles.

The announcement follows West’s fresh acquisition of Savannah starring Jim Caviezel and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Ketchup’s slate includes Vehicle 19 starring Paul Walker and the BBC’s Lost Christmas with Eddie Izzard.

Ketchup Entertainment launched as a private equity and senior lending fund in 2008 and announced its US distribution division in 2012.

“Ketchup Entertainment has a great eye for content and this deal will allow Open Road to enhance and maximise opportunities with our ancillary partners in the marketplace,” said Ortenberg.

West added, “As we continue to develop our slate, it is important that we are working with the best possible partners to bring our movies to audiences in the US, and we believe that Open Road Films is a great partner for our line-up.”
