President of international Helen Lee Kim and her team will be talking up the Indian Paintbrush title Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World as well as Eva Mendes comedy-drama See If I Care and horror project Nurse 3D.

Seeking A Friend stars Keira Knightley and Steve Carell as neighbours who find love at the most inopportune time as earth faces imminent destruction from an approaching asteroid. Mandate Pictures and Indian Paintbrush are co-financing and Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin and Joy Gorman are producing with Indian Paintbrush’s Steven Rales and Mark Roybal. Screenwriter Lorene Scafaria makes her directorial debut.

See If I Care is in post and stars Mendes as a hapless mother who clashes with her precocious teenage daughter until they finally learn to accept one another. Cierra Ramirez, Matthew Modine and Patricia Arquette are among the cast and Patricia Riggen directs from a script by Hiram Martinez. John Fiedler and Ben Odell are the producers.

Nurse 3D from director Douglas Aarniokoski centres on a dedicated nurse who lures unfaithful men to their death and must outwit a young colleague who threatens to expose her. David Loughery wrote the upcoming horror-thriller.

The slate includes the previously announced comedy Great Hope Springs that reunites Meryl Streep with The Devil Wears Prada director David Frankel. Steve Carell plays a relationship guru entrusted to inject new life into a middle-age couple’s marriage. Vanessa Taylor wrote the screenplay and Guymon Casady and Todd Black are producing. 

Rapturepalooza stars Craig Robinson, Anna Kendrick and Ana Gasteyer in the story of a comical post-apocalyptic world where a young man tries to save his girlfriend from an omnipotent ruler with self-esteem issues. Paul Middleditch will direct from a script by Chris Matheson and Jimmy Miller and David Householter and Ed Solomon are producing.

Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds stars Perry, Thandie Newton, Rebecca Romijn, Jamie Kennedy and Gabrielle Union and is a rom-com about a software entrepreneur who falls for a single mother shortly before his wedding. Perry is producing with Ozzie Areu and Paul Hall.

Production has wrapped on the family comedy Fred 3D: Night Of The Living Fred starring internet sensation Lucas Cruikshank as his alter ego Fred who stakes out a suspected vampire living next door. John Fortenberry directs.

Production has just wrapped on Dibbuk Box, Silent Hill 2 and Salmon Fishing In The Yemen, while dance project Cobu 3D is set to commence production in May, as is The Hunger Games, which will now also star Elizabeth Banks in the role of Effie Trinket.

The slate includes the romantic action title Untitled Matt Drake Project with Zac Efron and comedy thriller Pawnshop Chronicles to star Paul Walker, as well as Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, BFF & Baby and Untitled Farrelly Comedy.
