EXCLUSIVE: New Films International has boarded dales is talking up Score: A Hockey Musical starring Noah Reid, Allie MacDonald, Olivia Newton-John and Nelly Furtado.

Michael McGowan’s rags-to-riches tale was the opening night gala at Toronto and screens in the market.

New Films chief content officer Ron Gell brokered the deal with executive producer Richard Hanet.

“Score is a crowd pleaser with a fantastic message for any audience,” Gell said. “Michael McGowan has delivered an incredible effort, marrying a musical inside a coming-of-age film.”
