The recent SXSW premiere will next screen at the Hot Docs and Full Frame documentary festivals before Oscilloscope Laboratories takes it to additional festivals prior to theatrical, DVD and digital release. 

Dan Berger and David Laub negotiated the North American rights deal with ICM Partners and Marc H Simon of Cowan DeBaets Abrahams & Sheppard on behalf of the film-makers.

Lotfy Nathan’s debut feature profiles the eponymous inner city dirt bike gang in Baltimore who perform outrageous feats in traffic, fully aware that the police cannot chase them for fear of endangering the public. There is particular focus on Pug, a youngster who bids to join his idols.

Berger described the Kickstarter-backed 12 O’Clock Boys as a “portrait of a subculture as much as a window into the state of America, and it’s all in the guise of The Wire by way of Cirque Du Soleil.”
