Paladin has acquired US rights to David Guy Levy’s boy-meets-girl drama A Love Affair Of Sorts.

Levy also produced, co-wrote and stars as one half of a cute couple opposite Lili Bordan.

Paladin CEO Mark Urman served as executive producer and said the company has set an early 2011 festival run.

“Not only has [Levy] done something very modern and innovative with Love Affair – which we believe is the first-ever feature made entirely with the Flip Camera – he has also done something surprisingly sweet and classically romantic.”

Since forming Paladin last year, Urman has released a dozen films including Disgrace starring John Malkovich, The Loss Of A Teardrop Diamond with Bryce Dallas Howard and The Greatest starring Pierce Brosnan, Carey Mulligan, and Susan Sarandon. In release is Drake Doremus’ Douchebag.
