E1 Entertainment Benelux and RTL Netherlands have struck a multi-year film deal. The RTL channels get the Dutch TV rights to films such as Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past, 17 Again, Fame and Disaster Movie.
Other titles covered in the deal include New In Town, Defiance, Drag Me To Hell, and My Best Friend’s Girl.
RTL has also taken on TV rights for films including Bangkok Dangerous,Gangs Of New York, The Family Man, and What Women Want.
“Our real value add now is in terms of international sales,” revealed Oli Harbottle of Dogwoof.
Reference funding from the German Federal Film Board is based on a film’s box office, festival and awards performance.
