Goldwyn’s general counsel and VP of development Ian Puente and SVP of acquisitions Peter Goldwyn negotiated the deal with Carole Baraton and Antoine Zylberberg of Wild Bunch.

“I was captivated by the script from the first page and cannot wait to bring this film to American audiences,” Goldwyn said. “Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s work speaks for itself – he is one of the most gifted painters the world has ever seen while his son Jean is one of the most important filmmakers of our time. We feel extremely fortunate to bring such indelible icons to life.”
