Los Angeles-based Shoreline Entertainment has signed on to handle international sales on Todd and Brad Barnes’s romantic comedy Homewrecker.

The film premiered at Sundance in the low budget Next section and won the Best Of The Next Prize and follows a recently released inmate who gets a job as a locksmith just as a friend hires him to break into her boyfriend’s apartment.

Shoreline’s director of acquisitions Brandon Paine and executive vice-president Sam Eigen negotiated the deal with Todd and Brad Barnes and producer’s rep Steven Beer.

Shoreline recently acquired sales rights to the documentaries Mind Of The Demon: The Larry Linkogle Story about the motorcross legend, and Blood Into Wine, which chronicles the transition of Tool frontman James Keenan into a winemaker.

The company recently concluded a UK DVD deal with Lionsgate UK on Fat Belly, which explores the story behind Australian criminal Mark “Chopper” Read. Shoreline’s sales slate includes the Latin American trio of Undertow, Zona Sur, and The Maid.
