EXCLUSIVE: Last Knights, Ruth & Alex, The Loft among haul.

UK distributor Signature Entertainment has finalised deals for at least ten films from the AFM, including action-adventure Last Knights from Arclight Films and comedy Ruth & Alex from Myriad Pictures.

Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman star in the former about a knight seeking vengeance when his lord is unjustly executed by a tyrannical emperor, while Richard Loncraine’s Ruth & Alex, also starring Freeman, this time alongside Diane Keaton, sees a married couple from New York become overwhelmed by personal and real estate-related issues when they plan to move away.

Psychological thriller The Loft and astronaut story Ad Inexplorata were both picked up from IM Global while Elsa and Fred, starring Michael Radford and Christopher Plummer was acquired from Lotus Entertainment.

Mystery Romance Frequencies was bought from Monte Cristo, while sci-fi horror Harbinger Down was picked up from The Exchange.

Documentary The Phoenix Incident was acquired from Continental and horror-sci fi June came from Ravenbanner.

The company also picked up animation Dino Time, featuring the voice cast of Melanie Griffiths and Steven and William Baldwin, from Myriad.
