Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) is uniting the division’s domestic and international brand marketing groups into a single worldwide team.

Alison Biggers, who previously oversaw the international marketing team, will lead the group and has been appointed senior vice-president of worldwide marketing.

Biggers has been with SPHE for ten years and arrived in 1999 from MGM Home Entertainment in 1999.

The team also includes Emma Pemberton, who was named vice-president of international marketing and reports to Biggers. Pemberton will spearhead product strategy and oversee international product marketing initiatives.

Other team members include director of international marketing for new releases and acquisitions Melanie Watson, director of international marketing for family, catalogue and TV Jerome Adams, manager of international marketing handling new releases from Columbia Pictures and Screen Gems products Jennifer McCaslin, and Jamie Fieldman, who as assistant manager of international marketing will coordinate the execution of marketing plans between territories and home office.

“With the increasing globalisation of our business, we saw the need to develop one closely connected worldwide team that could set global strategic plans and then quickly and efficiently execute those plans at a local level,” SPHE’s senior executive vice-president of worldwide marketing Lexine Wong said.
