Michael Epstein, Michael Mailer and Stanley Buchthal of Dakota Group are to produce the Pulitzer Prize winning novel The Armies Of The Night.

Spas Roussev, chairman of the Norman Mailer Center, will serve as executive producer. David Koh and Josh Braun of Submarine Entertainment will handle worldwide sales in Cannes.

The Armies Of The Night ostensibly deals with the October 1967 anti-Vietnam War rally in Washington DC and fuses factual and fictional account of the march.

Epstein is an Academy Award nominated documentary producer, director and writer whose work has been awarded two George Foster Peabody Awards, a Primetime Emmy, a Writers Guild Award, as well as other numerous distinctions.

Buchthal is an entrepreneur and film and theatre producer whose projects include Hairspray, Spanking The Monkey and Up At The Villa.

Michael Mailer co-wrote and produced A Fool And His Money starring Sandra Bullock and George Plimpton in 1988. Since then, he has produced 20 features, including Blood And Bone and The Ledge.
