Summit and Media Pro have signed a three-year output deal on all films produced by Summit covering the territories of Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
Titles include Louis Leterrier’s heist project Now You See Me starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freeman and Isla Fisher and Summit’s upcoming Highlander adventure.
“Media Pro has proven itself to be a reliable and excellent distributor that has maximised results for us across all theatrical, video and television platforms,” Summit Entertainment’s svp of international sales Ralpho Borgos said.
“We are very proud of renewing our partnership with Summit Entertainment,” MediaPro Distribution general manager Anca Truta added. “I’m very sure that we’ll both have a solid outcome taking into consideration that the EE countries MPD is activating have already proven their potential on the theatrical market.
