AMC Sundance Channel inks first time carriage on largest pay TV platform in Turkey, expands Polish footprint.
The Sundance Channel is to launch on leading Turkish Pay TV platform Digiturk, marking the channel’s first deal in the territory.
The AMC network channel will be available as a locally versioned 24/7 linear offering as well as a video-on-demand (VOD) offering.
The channel is also launching on Cyfrowy Polsat and Toya in Poland.
Tom Tykwer’s German thriller was a breakout for the director and his star star Franka Potente.
“Our real value add now is in terms of international sales,” revealed Oli Harbottle of Dogwoof.
Reference funding from the German Federal Film Board is based on a film’s box office, festival and awards performance.
