Elle Driver has closed key territories here on Emanuele Crialese’s Venice special jury prize-winner Terraferma ahead of its North American premiere tonight (13).

The drama will screen in an extra P&I screening today at 9am at Bell Lightbox 6 and has gone to Cinemien for Benelux, United King for Israel, Phars for Middle East, Non Stop for Scandinavia and Conquest for Brazil.

01 will release in Italy and Elle Driver is in talks over English-speaking territories, Russia and Spain. 

The first deals have come in on Bachelorette, the black comedy from Will Ferrell’s Gary Sanchez Productions and BCDF Pictures that star Kirsten Dunst and Adam Scott and is shooting now in New York.

Icon has licensed UK rights, Mars will distribute in France, Top Film has acquired Russia, United King has taken Israel and Phars will release in the Middle East.

There has been a string of deals on Tanya Wexler’s rom-com Hysteria starring Felicity Jones, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Hugh Dancy, which screens for press and industry tomorrow (14) and receives its gala premiere on Thursday.
