Anchor Bay Films is planning a second quarter US release on the thriller starring Antonio Banderas as a private eye hired to find a missing stripper.

The distributor has also picked up rights for the UK, Australia and New Zealand on the film, which Tony Krantz directed and also William Fichtner, Sam Elliott, Sienna Guillory, Delroy Lindo and Snoop Dogg.

Hannibal Pictures chairman and CEO Richard Rionda Del Castro and Gary Howsam arranged financing with the support of Standard Chartered Bank, Rollercoaster Entertainment, Blue Rider Pictures and North By Northwest Entertainment.

Del Castro produced with Tony Krantz of Flame Ventures and Erik Jendresen from an original screenplay by Jendresen. Patricia Eberle, Howsam, Lewin Webb, Richard Salvatore and Ross Dinerstein served as executive producers.

Del Castro and WME’s Graham Taylor brokered the deal with Bill Clark, Kevin Kasha and Richard Turner for Anchor Bay Films.
