Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International’s Toy Story 3 arrives in eight new markets this weekend including Australia.

The Pixar release should finish the weekend as the biggest overseas release and has already raced to $60.3m from a relatively light launch last weekend. The animated sequel will also open in the Netherlands, Belgium and South Africa.

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time stands at $217.4m and Alice In Wonderland has grossed $687m and is in with a shot at overtaking Ice Age 3 to become the fourth biggest international release in history.

Warner Bros Pictures International’s Sex And The City 2 has reached $164m.

Universal / UPI’s Get Him To The Greek has grossed an early $5.8m and opens in the UK on June 25. Leap Yearopens in Spain and Robin Hood stands at $195.8m.

Paramount / PPI’s She’s Out Of My League on $15m arrives in France and South Africa this weekend. Shrek Forever After opens in New Zealand and stands at $87.6m. Iron Man 2 has reached $291.8m.

Fox International launches the Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz action comedy Knight And Day day-and-date with North America in a dozen or so mostly Asian markets. Highlights are expected to come from Russia, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong.

The A-Team ventures into a further seven key markets and executives will be looking to build on the early $35.9m running total.

Sony Pictures Releasing International’s The Karate Kid stood at $14.9m by June 20 and opens in several markets including Argentina, while The Back-Up Plan had grossed $33.4m.
