Trust closes UK, Germany, Korea and more on new crime-thriller from The Roommate director.

TrustNordisk has sold Christian Christiansen’s new crime thriller ID: A to UK (Chelsea Films), Germany (ZDF), Poland (Kino Swiat), Korea (Sonamu Pictures) and Turkey and Cyprus (Calinos Entertainment).

Zentropa produces the psychological-drama, billed as a Bourne-style thriller, about a woman suffering from amnesia who must elude mysterious followers after waking up in a river.

Tuva Novotny, Flemming Enevold, Carsten Bjørnlund, Jens Jørn Spottag and Marie Louise Ville star.

Danish director Christiansen previously directed US box office hit The Roommate and was nominated for an Oscar for his 2008 short At Night.

The UK deal was negotiated by TrustNordisk head of sales Susan Wendt and Daniel Cooper, head of acquisitions for Chelsea Films, the genre label of Artificial Eye.

Trust’s other hot market titles include Thomas Vinterberg’s The Hunt, Nikolaj Arcel’s A Royal Affair, Susanne Bier’s All You Need Is Love, Headhunters, Black’s Game and Comrade.
