UK genre specialist Jinga has sold Jeremy Wooding’s werewolf western Blood Moon to Uncork’d Entertainment for North America.

Shaun Dooley stars as an enigmatic gunslinger who comes to the rescue of a stagecoach full of passengers who are held hostage by bank robbers in a remote wild west town, but events take an unexpected turn when the group are attacked by a mythical beast known to locals as a skinwalker.

The deal was completed on the first day of AFM.

“It’s a fresh approach to the werewolf genre,” said Keith Leopard, president of Unckork’d Entertainment. “It has a great mixture of creatures, guns and blood”.
