Vision Films has landed worldwide rights to the autobiographical documentary It’s So Easy And Other Lies about former Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan.

The film is based on the New York Times bestseller and is written and directed by Christopher Duddy, who produced with McKagan and Rainstorm Entertainment’s Steven G Kaplan.

It’s So Easy And Other Lies recounts McKagan’s story from his humble origins in Seattle to worldwide fame and features rare archive footage of his early days with original Guns N’ Roses members Slash, Steve Adler, Izzy Stradlin and Axl Rose.

Daniel Zirilli, Joe Mundo and Kati Thomson served as executive producers.

“Vision Films is excited to begin sales of It’s So Easy And Other Lies,” said MD and CEO of worldwide distribution Lise Romanoff, who will show a teaser and footage. “The title is a one of a kind look into one of the most iconic bands in Rock History.”
