eOne is continuing to grow its European operations with a new Belgium office and additional local staff to push more theatrical distribution.

eOne is now the only independent distributor operational in all forms of exploitation in Benelux.

Located in Brussels, the new office will focus on theatrical distribution in Belgium and home entertainment in the French-speaking market.

Jeffrey de Graaff will lead theatrical activities, Rick Hartman will be responsible for the growing home entertainment operations in Wallonia.

EOne had previously released its titles in the territory through local distribution partnerships.

Upcoming titles include Sinister, released in December, Silent Hill: Revelation, I Give It A Year and The Mortal Instruments.

eOne extended its distribution network into Benelux in 2008 with the acquisition of local distributor RCV (now eOne Benelux).

Helmed by eOne Benelux managing director, Jan Kouwenhoven, the Hilversum-headquartered group has focused on the multi-platform distribution of local productions as well as films attained through eOne’s partnerships worldwide. The outfit has scored recent successes with drama Mees Kees and thriller Der Verbouwing
