MIFF Business Square will boast the central theme of development of the film industries between the EU and BRIC countrires (Brazil, Russia, India and China).

The Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF) will today make a presentation in the Russian Pavilion of its industry programme at the 32nd festival (June 17-26).

MIFF Business Square, consisting of the Moscow Co-Production Forum, BRIC Film Finance Forum, Baltic Event for East and Mini EAVE, will boast the central theme of development of the film industries between the EU and BRIC countrires (Brazil, Russia, India and China).

The Co-Production Forum will highlight 18 projects from Europe and the four BRIC nations and the projects will be co-produced between Brazil, Russia, India and China as well as between Europe and BRIC.

The BRIC Film Finance Forum will be devoted to the development of the film industry in the BRIC countries and will bring together experts on the BRIC countries, representatives of public organizations of the BRIC countries, European producers who have co-produced with the BRIC countries and representatives of leading film studios, production centres, TV channels and distributors from these countries.

The main focus of the forum will be film financing in these fast-growing markets as well as Hollywood studio strategies, distribution and piracy.
