Terry Gilliam’s The Wholly Family completes the line up of 15 short films which have been nominated for the European Film Awards.

The short film initiative is organised by the European Film Academy in co-operation with a series of film festivals throughout Europe. At each of these festivals, an independent jury presents one of the European short films in competition with a nomination in the short film category of the European Film Awards.

The final short film, Terry Gilliam’s The Wholly Family, was selected at the International Short Film Festival in Drama, Greece.

The nominees will now be presented to over 2,500 members of the European Film Academy, who will decide the overall winner.

The winning film will be announced at the 24th European Film Awards Ceremony in Berlin on Dec 3.
