Vicente Canales’ aggressive new sales outfit Film Factory Entertainment has taken international sales rights on Inertia, a feature film to be directed by Gonzalo López Gallego (Apollo 18, King Of The Hill)
The film is co- -written by the director and Fernando Navarro and is backed up financially by AXN. Inertia is currently in pre-production, with principal photograph due to begin in the autumn.
After the first three days of the market, Film Factory has closed key international deals for the project with France (WildSide), CIS (Carmen Film) and Australia (Vendetta).
Inertia is being produced through Telecinco Cinema and Roxbury Pictures on the other. The movie comes billed as a hyper-realistic action movie
Telecinco Cinema aims to produce commercial action movies at competitive budgets.
“We hope that Inertia will be to the action genre what REC was to horror films”, commented executive producer M.A. Faura. He describes the project as “Duel for the PlayStation Generation.”
