Jan Rofekamp’s Quebec-based Films Transit and Peter Jager’s Vienna-located Autlook, two of the leading sales agents for feature docs, are to join forces on selected projects.

As the new collaboration gets underway in Berlin, two docs from Films Transit, Position Among The Stars and !Women, Art Revolution will be co-represented by Autlook in Berlin.

“As there are only few theatrical docs every year and the marketplace is ever changing, it’s ideal for us to join forces and share know-how with a great sales agent like Films Transit” Autlook CEO Peter Jager commented. “We did Into Eternity together, that collaboration went so well, we decided to continue working together. Autlook will negotiate “all rights” deals with theatrical distributors and together with Films Transit, we decide on the best partners for each film.

Films Transit CEO Jan Rofekamp agreed. “Our collaboration is decided film by film,” he said. ” Films Transit and Autlook share years of experience and costs, so between Autlook, Films Transit and the producer it’s a win-win-win partnership that will bring great feature docs to the market in a faster and more efficient way.”
