The European Film Academy’s European Achievement in World Cinema Award 2010 will go to composer Gabriel Yared.
His film scores include The English Patient, The Talented Mr Ripley, The Lover, Vincent Et Theo, Amelia and The Lives of Others.
He will be a guest of honour at the EFA ceremony on Dec 4 in Tallinn, Estonia.
Kjersti Dalseiede, Tobias Santelmann, Ole Christoffer Ertvaag lead the cast.
