Five-day summit runs in parallel with Animation Film Festival Animated Dreams, a sub-festival of Tallinn Black Nights.

New networking and training initiative AnimaCampus Tallinn launches today as a five-day summit for animators under the age of 35.

The event takes place in parallel with the Animation Film Festival Animated Dreams, the sub-festival of Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. 

The attendees will include directors, producers, animators, sound designers, scriptwriters, cinematographers, production designers, effects designers and visual artists.

Offerings include lectures, presentations, discussions, screenings and workshops and the overall theme is “Set Your Own Rules.”



In 2011 AnimaCampus Tallinn is focusing on the following regions: Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland), Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), South Caucasus (Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan) and Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan).

Speakers will include Dietrich Hasse, Anders Berthelsen, Helena Bulaja, Kati Kovacs, Leeor Goldberg, Markus Lauterbach, Max Howard, Nick Dorra [pictured] and Rune Christensen.
