The French director and actress made her feature film debut with the recent world premiere in Toronto of Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story).
US rights to the sex drama are in discussion.
Husson’s previous film, Those For Whom It’s Always Complicated, was released on French TV via Arte and screened at various festivals around the world.
The director emerged from the American Film Institute’s MFA programme in directing in Los Angeles after spending most of her life in the US, France and Spain.
Husson has also signed with Independent in the UK.
